When I failed the July 2024 bar exam, I felt embarrassed, dismayed, and determined to pass on the next try. I knew I needed something different than what I did before. Obviously, the regular bar prep programs did not work with me the first try.
Someone I worked with recommended Steven. He really changed how I looked at the California Bar Exam. It isn’t about getting every question right. It is about picking up every point you can. He set aside time for me to memorize the rules. He even adapted my study schedule to account for medical mishaps that happened during prep.
The Feb 2025 test was a mess. Between the exam crashing out multiple times in several sections, a dysfunctional copy paste, and unsaved answers, it kind of felt like the world was falling apart. However, I stuck to what I knew. The essays on the exam felt familiar because I had done practice essays like them with Steven. I was able to fall back on the strategies that he taught me. When the multiple choice felt awkwardly written or nonsensical, I focused on picking up individual points. I know that I would not have passed without Steven.
